From May 28 to 30th, 2024, an AUN-QA evaluation for 04 training programmes, including Master in Computer Science, will be held at Can Tho University for the quality assurance work.
AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance) is a specialized network under AUN dedicated to ensuring the quality of higher education. Its primary objective is to foster quality assurance initiatives within higher education institutions, enhance the overall quality of higher education, and engage in partnerships with regional and international organizations for the betterment of the ASEAN community.
AUN-QA standard encompasses a comprehensive set of criteria, incorporating output standards, curriculum frameworks, faculty qualifications, infrastructure, quality assurance mechanisms, and the symbiotic interplay between academia, students, and industry stakeholders, all aimed at safeguarding the excellence of the overall educational curriculum.
Participating in AUN-QA quality assessment will help enhance the academic standards and quality assurance mechanisms within computer science education.
The AUN-QA standard has been acknowledged and become one of the top choices among universities in Southeast Asia, thanks to its regional and international recognized set of standards as well as a demanding and transparent accreditation procedure.
Can Tho University has chosen the AUN-QA standard as one of the standards to validate the university's training quality, as well as the university's commitment to society and employers about the quality of the training program's outputs. In July 2013, Can Tho University officially joined the ASEAN University Network (AUN). Currently, nine training programs (including 02 advanced programs) of the university have been examined and certified as satisfying the AUN-QA requirements.
